Duties
- Working as the system architect on CMMP and troubleshooting issues across or within any sub-systems of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP)
- Reviewing and improving the existing structure of CMMP sub-systems to support wider rollout of CMMP and to improve effectiveness & efficiency as well as to meet user requirements
- Maintaining and supporting CMMP, particularly on infrastructure system components such as Domain Name System (DNS) Servers, Active Directory (AD), server clustering, SQL Server Always On, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Backup Solutions, Distributed File System (DFS), KMIP Key management system, Hardware Security Module (HSM), etc.
- Maintaining and supporting CMMP AD Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and cross-forest trust
- Developing PowerShell script and other scripts for automating the daily support activities
- Assuring and controlling the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors from the perspective of system architecture
- Assisting in IT project management and vendor management
- Providing daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project
- Providing liaison and coordination services with different stakeholders
- Monitor and report system usage and healthiness
- Working outside office hours and providing on-call production support
- Performing any work assigned by supervisor
- Promoting and maintaining server patch management practices
- Providing liaison and support to Bureaux/Departments on the production setup, client rollout and issues resolution
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- Minimum of 6 years of working experience in system implementation and maintenance / support is required
- Minimum of 6 years of working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) is required
- Minimum of 6 years of working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft SQL Server Always On is required
- At least 2 years of working experience as a Senior Systems Analyst
- Working experience with/in HKSAR Government is preferred
- Good command in spoken and written English is required
- Good command in spoken Mandarin will be an advantage
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 6 years x Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Microsoft SQL Server and System Implementation and Maintenance/Support
- 4 years x Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
- 6 years x Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Microsoft SQL Server and System Implementation and Maintenance/Support
