The requested staff will be assigned to the project team to provide technical support and maintenance of server infrastructure, storage infrastructure, network, system management and backup infrastructure  in data centres, Registration of Persons (ROP) offices, other branch offices and control points and relocation of data centres

He/she is required to provide technical support, co-ordinate and advise the technical matters of the following activities:

• Providing coordination, system support and installation, configuration, testing, production rollout, acceptance and maintenance
• Arranging and providing support for the relocation and redeployment of servers and network equipment for enhancements
• Providing support in relocation of data centres and infrastructure related activities
• Providing maintenance support on infrastructure
• Monitoring and examination of contractor's work and deliverables
• System monitoring and tuning, problem diagnosis and resolution, system housekeeping and security control
• Evaluation of the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions in resolving technical problems
• Production maintenance and support matters
• Round-the-clock on-call technical support
• Any other duties as may be required

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
• At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
• Criminal record check is required
• Solid experience in system implementation of IT infrastructure supporting mission critical system and management of outsourcing contractors
• Profound knowledge in network routers and switches, firewalls and load balancers, storage area network, Unix server, Windows server and VMware is a must
• Normally work in Tseung Kwan O and occasionally provide support at various offices
• and control points and other designated locations
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  • 5 years x  Infrastructure and Windows Server 2008/2012
  • 4 years x  Internet/ Intranet and Server Virtualisation Technology
  • 3 years x  Work experience with/in the Government
