New Office(s) IT Setup Project

• To plan and oversee the deployment of IT network equipment for the new HYAB office(s) setup
• To lead the design and implementation of the local area network (LAN) and related IT infrastructure for support about 100 staff
• To coordinate the procurement of computer hardware, software, and IT services in accordance with operational requirements and established government guidelines and procedures
  
• To allocate and manage computer facilities for staff stationed at Tamar prior to transition to the new office(s)
  
• To arrange redeployment of IT equipment to support approximately 100 staff and minimize under-utilization of surplus equipment after the event
  
• To design a flexible and scalable network architecture and IT support arrangement to accommodate evolving operational requirements
  
• To facilitate provision of dedicated PCs connected to cross-departmental networks to enable access to various bureaux/department (B/D) internal systems
  
• To coordinate network connectivity with other B/Ds within the new office(s)
  
• To provide professional advice on IT-related expenditures, including hardware, software, and services, and support budget planning and control
  
• To ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, standards, and security requirements
  
• To provide advice and technical support for the launch and content updates of the event-related website(s)
  
• To plan for orderly decommissioning and termination of the event-specific IT setup tentatively by Q4 2027
  

Windows 11 Upgrade and EDR Implementation Project

• To develop and maintain project plans for the Windows 11 upgrade and EDR implementation, including scope, schedule, milestones, and risk management
  
• To coordinate with internal stakeholders, HYAB IT support teams, DPO project teams and various vendors to ensure smooth system migration and deployment with target completion by Q1 2027
  
• To oversee system testing, user acceptance, deployment scheduling, and post-implementation support
  
• To manage risks and operational impacts associated with system upgrade and security implementation
  
• To monitor project progress and provide regular reports to HYAB management
  

General Responsibilities

• To prepare and submit regular progress and status reports for both projects
  
• To coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure effective project delivery
  
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 3 years of working experience as a Project Manager
  
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure implementation and/or system deployment projects
  
• Experience in office IT setup, LAN/network implementation, and enterprise desktop environment management
  
• Experience in managing operating system upgrade projects and/or IT security solution implementation (e.g. EDR) is highly desirable
  
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and resource management
  
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated capability in managing risks and issues
  
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively under pressure
  
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 5 years x IT Application Development and Management, IT Operational Management, Project Management Professional (PMP), System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Coordination, IT Service/ Outsourcing Management and IT Service Management
    
  • 3 years x IT Security, Network & System Management, Work experience with/in the Government and Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services
