Duties

To oversee AI cluster orchestration and job scheduling while manage, monitor and maintain AI data centers to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization
To determine and optimize networking requirements for AI workloads
To identify, evaluate and describe data center networking protocols and technologies suitable for AI environments and recommend appropriate solutions
To design, implement and optimize high-performance network fabric architectures to support AI workloads, including east-west traffic flows and low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity
To generate actionable insights through AI analytics dashboards for network security, availability and performance optimization
To deploy, configure and maintain AI-powered network management and analytics tools
To operate and maintain the network systems and services
To diagnose, analyze, and resolve network problems and security vulnerabilities
To research and evaluate the latest products, tools, and practices to recommend cost-effective solutions
To analyze and follow the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG
To prepare guidelines and procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks
To provide technical consultation services
To develop network-related programs to streamline the operation and maintenance process
To manage the Contractors and liaise with different parties to achieve the goals of network projects
To co-operate with junior network engineers to support, operate and maintain the network infrastructure/system of EMSD including but not limited to:
- Web Application Firewall system
- Load Balancer system
- Web Proxy system
- Remote site connection system
- Network Access Control system
- DNS system
- Home VPN system
- Network monitoring system
- Network Automation system
To lead teammates as required by supervisors for achieving the goals of specific projects/tasks
To assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services
To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors

Requirements

Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer subjects or related IT disciplines
At least five (5) years&;#8217; post-qualification information technology experience of which two (2) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity
At least three (3) years&;#8217; in network infrastructure/system support, operate and maintain, preferably with solid experience in enterprise network project design, implementation and manage, also the management of Contractor/Vendor
Strong commitment to project deadline and deliver high quality of work
Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized
Possession of certifications of CCNP / CISSP / ITIL is preferable
Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 5 years x CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products and Networking
- 4 years x Proxy Server, Virtual LAN/LAN Switching, Work experience with/in the Government, Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services, Project Management and Vendor Management
- 3 years x Authentication Server, Internet/ Intranet, Router Configuration, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Virtual Private Network, Wide Area Network, Client Service, Coordination and Experience in Managing Government Projects
- 2 years x Internet Firewall Technical Support, Intrusion Prevention System, IT Security, Network & System Management, Wireless and Mobile and Tender Preparation and Administration
- 1.5 years x Knowledge in Gov't Procurement/Disposal Procedures
